I would like to make something very clear. I love the church. I love to worship and have taught our boys to do the same. Like you I see many problems in the church of all denominations. I was talking with a pastor not long ago and he was in full agreement .He cautioned about how we must be careful discussing these issues in church. What? When and how did the church become a place where we cannot talk about the truth?

I have spoke in churches since my college days. I can preach and have but I am at heart a writer. I can speak freely here and have no fear of being fired. I grew up in a small country church and there is where I feel most comfortable. It is because I do not wear a label that I can and have preached in many different ones over the years. This I feel allows me to fly under the radar. I pass on any and all invitations to speak where they require me to submit my talk to a board or a senior pastor for approval...and always will!

In most cases I do not have single word written down the morning of. I spend much time in prayer and ask God to direct me and reserve the right to head another way if the Holy Spirit should desire. I am deeply concerned because many churches buy prepackaged sermons. Some pastors plan their sermons a year out and brag about it on Facebook.

You can do that if we are math teachers or football coaches. You cannot do that with the Gospel! There may be someone who is about to take their live and you talk about the budget. I feel if Jesus showed up in most churches on Sunday , he would not get a word in edgewise.

I want to go to a church where the pastor gets on his knees and let God lead. I want to live in a country where our leaders do the same. God is always on the move. God wishes to be worshipped in spirit and truth. This website is not to be a church for you. Find a good bible based church that follows the bible teaches....and lets God lead!!!

You better hang on, you are in for the ride of your life.

One thing you will never see in this lifetime is a bull rider yawning before they open the gate. Nobody knows what is going to happen but it is pure excitement! That is what Jesus had in mind for the church. That is the way the church should be. Once you have tasted this it will ruin you from the planned, canned ,and routine.

If God consistently sent lightning bolts in response to bad doctrine our planet would sparkle nightly like a Christmas tree.
